Epic Universe Debuts a Nightly Fireworks Show Featuring the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Lumos, but make it a light show for 600 fixtures.
Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe debuted a brand-new nighttime spectacular today, July 7, called Universal Celestial Goodnight — and the Wizarding World gets its own moment in the spotlight. The show runs nightly at closing time and stitches together nearly 600 synchronized light fixtures, more than 350 fountains, and seven million LED lights, set to a musical score inspired by Epic Universe’s four worlds. It spotlights SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, before closing on a fireworks finale.
It’s not the only nighttime magic on offer this summer. Over at Islands of Adventure, the projection show Hogwarts Always — a seven-and-a-half-minute sequence lighting up Hogwarts Castle with scenes from the films, including four different endings depending on which house you’re sorted into — returns on select dates beginning May 30, 2026, running from dusk until park close.
