LEGO’s Ministry of Magic Set Leak Points to One of the Biggest Harry Potter Sets Ever
One of the Ministry of Magic’s most tightly guarded secrets might just be a LEGO set number.
According to leaker Brick Tap, a new LEGO Harry Potter set — 76476 Ministry of Magic — is in the works, and if the numbers hold up, it would be one of the biggest sets the theme has ever produced. The leak, corroborated by the social account ScreenTime, points to 3,491 pieces and a price tag around $450.
That scale would put it just behind LEGO’s current Harry Potter heavyweights: Hogwarts Castle (6,020 pieces), Diagon Alley (5,544 pieces), the Hogwarts Express Collector’s Edition (5,129 pieces), and the Gringotts Bank Collector’s Edition (4,803 pieces) — making the Ministry the fifth largest Harry Potter set LEGO has ever released, if it goes ahead as rumored.
It would also be a massive upgrade over LEGO’s only prior take on the location: 2022’s 76403 Ministry of Magic, a comparatively modest 990-piece set built around the Deathly Hallows scene of Harry, Ron, and Hermione sneaking in to steal a Horcrux. Fans have wishlisted a working lift system, a proper Dolores Umbridge office, and nods to the Department of Mysteries for years.
The timing lines up neatly with the countdown to HBO’s Harry Potter series, premiering this December — giving LEGO an obvious commercial reason to go bigger than ever on the Ministry.
Take this one with the usual caveat that these are unverified leaks. LEGO has not confirmed the set number, piece count, price, or release date, so all of it remains rumor until the company says otherwise.
