Back to Hogwarts 2026: Ten New Pieces, From a Postcard to a Platform 9¾ Satchel
There is no bad time to buy a Hogwarts mug, but the first of September is the one that comes with a train. Warner Bros. has opened its Back to Hogwarts 2026 range at the official Harry Potter Shop — ten pieces, live now, every one of them stamped with this year’s date.
That stamp is doing more work than usual. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone premieres on HBO Max on Christmas Day, which makes 1 September 2026 the last Back to Hogwarts of the film era. Every one after this arrives in a world that has already met a new Harry, a new Hermione and a new Ron. If you have ever side-eyed a dated souvenir, this is the year the date earns its keep.
One Design, Ten Objects
The range runs on a single idea, repeated: a crest-shaped frame with Hogwarts Castle inside it, the Hogwarts Express steaming along beneath, and a scatter of small details filling the space around the edges — candles, a Sorting Hat, the Platform 9¾ sign, a wax-sealed letter, a Chocolate Frog mid-hop. Cream, navy and copper-gold, start to finish.
✦ The Collection ✦
The Bigger Pieces
- T-Shirt — 100% cotton, cut boxy and oversized, with the crest graphic across the chest and smaller details running down the sleeves.
- Backpack — the flagship. A satchel silhouette with a Platform 9¾ emblem on the flap, and buckles that hide button fastenings underneath so you are not undoing straps every morning.
- Water Bottle — 17oz stainless steel in deep navy, the castle under a starry sky and Harry’s silhouette streaking after the Snitch. Ships with a crest charm.
- Mug — 16oz ceramic, tall tankard shape, navy handle. Gold lettering and the date on one side, the castle on the other.
- Pen & Pencil Set — stainless steel and brass, in a navy presentation box.
The Small Stuff
- Spinning Pin — the sleeper of the range. The castle sits inside the crest, and the acceptance letter mounted above it actually spins.
- Keyring — a crest-shaped loop carrying a castle charm and a 1st September 2026 tag.
- Socks — cream, knitted with the date and a scatter of motifs, in two sizes.
- Magnet — the same crest silhouette, for the fridge.
- Postcard — A5, finished in gold foil, and comfortably the cheapest way into the collection.

A Few Things Worth Knowing
- The backpack is not leather. It photographs like it. The spec sheet lists a polyurethane outer, a polyester lining, and brass-effect hardware.
- The T-shirt is not white. The product copy promises “a crisp white base.” The shop’s own photography shows an oatmeal cream. It is a good-looking colour — it just is not the one described.
- Nothing goes in the dishwasher. Neither the mug nor the water bottle is dishwasher or microwave safe.
- XL and XXL have already gone. The T-shirt is down to XS through L. Everything else was in stock at the time of writing.
