Mahoudokoro Unveils a Harry Potter Summer Apparel Line in Japan: Patronus Tops, a Hogwarts UV Hoodie, and More
Expecto Patronum — but make it summerwear. Mahoudokoro, the official Harry Potter shop in Japan, is rolling out a warm-weather apparel collection, with new items landing in stores and online on June 12.
The drop leans into lightweight, breezy pieces with a Wizarding World twist, alongside a fresh run of graphic tees that’s already on sale. Here’s what’s in the lineup.
Patronus See-Through Top
A sheer top with a Patronus print woven into the fabric — light and airy, pitched as a layering accent for summer outfits.
Price: ¥7,700 (about $48)
Patronus Chiffon Bandana
A semi-sheer bandana printed with the Patronus animals, made to tie onto a bag or work into your hair.
Price: ¥3,200 (about $20)
Hogwarts UV-Cut Hoodie
A track-hoodie-style design inspired by the one Harry wears during the Triwizard Tournament, with Hogwarts chest embroidery and striped sleeves. Built for sun protection — and, the shop notes, for over-air-conditioned rooms.

Honeydukes Polo
A soft pink polo with Honeydukes logo embroidery and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans detailing, finished with playful mismatched button colors.
Price: ¥5,500 (about $34)
The new graphic tees round things out: a Mandrake design nodding to Chamber of Secrets, a movie-scene print, a Honeydukes sugar-skull design, a Bertie Bott’s beans pattern, and a Luna-inspired Spectrespecs tee. The new tees run roughly ¥5,500 to ¥6,050 (about $34 to $38) each.
