Yankees to Host Harry Potter Night With the Aaron Judge Houses Bobblehead on July 21

The Sorting Hat is making a trip to the Bronx. The New York Yankees have set Harry Potter Night for Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Yankee Stadium, and the first 18,000 fans through the gates will take home an Aaron Judge Harry Potter Houses bobblehead.

Here’s the magical twist: the bobblehead comes in four versions — one for each Hogwarts house — and you don’t get to choose. The Yankees are distributing the house you receive at random, so whether the captain turns up in Gryffindor red, Slytherin green, Ravenclaw blue, or Hufflepuff yellow is entirely down to the luck of the draw. Consider it your own personal Sorting Ceremony at the turnstile.

The giveaway is free with any ticket to that night’s game, where the Yankees host the Pittsburgh Pirates. A few things worth knowing before you go: the bobbleheads go to the first 18,000 guests in attendance only, while supplies last, and it’s one item per valid, same-day game ticket. The Yankees also advise grabbing your item right at entry — once you’ve cleared the distribution area, you can’t double back for it.

A bit of good news for the wallet: July 21 isn’t on the Yankees’ list of Premium Games (those are reserved for matchups against the Red Sox, Dodgers, Braves, and Mets), making this one of the more affordable nights to snag a collectible. Tickets are available now through yankees.com/tickets.

  • Rays — Friday, July 31 vs. the White Sox: a Harry Potter snapback for theme-ticket buyers.
  • Astros — Tuesday, August 4 vs. the Blue Jays: Harry Potter Night with an optional Quidditch Astros jersey — costumes encouraged.
