Mahou Dokoro Expands Its Harry Potter Range With Diagon Alley Accessories and Monthly Film Drops
Accio shopping bag — Japan’s official Harry Potter store has had a busy few days. Mahou Dokoro, the Wizarding World shop chain with locations in Nagoya, Yokohama and Tokyo, has rolled out two fresh waves of merchandise tied to the film series’ 25th anniversary: a set of shop-themed accessories and a new run of Prisoner of Azkaban collectibles.
The first drop, available now, turns the famous storefronts of Diagon Alley into things you can wear and display. Three brooches recreate the signs of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, Ollivanders and Gringotts, each priced at 2,970 yen (about $18), with the Gringotts pin arriving in a black-and-gold gift box. Rounding out the line are a Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes door hook styled like the shop’s signboard at 6,980 yen (about $43), a set of shop-sign sticky notes featuring Ollivanders and Flourish and Blotts at 1,200 yen (about $7), and a restock of the popular Three Broomsticks brooch, also 2,970 yen.

The second wave leans on a fun new tradition: to mark 25 years of the films, Mahou Dokoro is releasing items themed on a different movie on the 25th of every month. June’s spotlight falls on Prisoner of Azkaban. The new pieces are a charm brooch hung with a mugshot board, Time-Turner and Monster Book of Monsters (3,960 yen, about $24), a 16-card postcard set of standout scenes (2,490 yen, about $15), and a three-design sticker set with an embossed Sirius Black wanted poster (990 yen, about $6).
Those join a lineup of existing Prisoner of Azkaban favorites still in stock, including a Sirius Black mugshot board, a wanted-poster pub mirror, two Time-Turner charms and a Monster Book of Monsters shoulder bag.

Everything is available at Mahou Dokoro’s Sakae (Nagoya), Landmark Plaza (Yokohama) and Tokyo Station shops, as well as the chain’s official online store. A note for fans outside Japan: these are Japan-exclusive, so a Japan-based proxy or forwarding service that buys domestically and reships abroad is usually the most reliable way to grab one, though it adds fees and a little waiting.
