&be Launches a Limited Harry Potter Base Makeup Collection With Hogwarts House Shades

Now you can put your house colors on before you even reach for your wand. Japanese cosmetics brand &be is releasing a limited-edition Harry Potter base-makeup collection for the film series’ 25th anniversary, going on sale July 1.

The headliner is a UV Primer Rich Moist, offered in four house-inspired shades — Standard, Peach Glow, Sky Glow and Forest Green — each carrying a forest-green scent and priced at 3,080 yen (about $19). There is also a Lasting Cushion Foundation in a compact stamped with the Hogwarts crest; open it and the foundation itself is embossed with Hogwarts castle, in two shades (Light Beige and Beige) at 3,740 yen (about $23).

Rounding out the set are two sponge case sets, designed around Hedwig and the Philosopher’s Stone, each holding a hyaluronic-acid-infused sponge in a reusable case for 1,760 yen (about $11).

The collection is a limited release. It arrives July 1 at &be retailers and on the &be official online store from 11:00 a.m. that day, and is also listed on Mahou Dokoro’s online shop from 10:00 a.m. For fans outside Japan, a Japan-based proxy or forwarding service is the usual way to order a domestic-only beauty launch like this one.
