Brazil’s Cacau Show Has a Monster Book of Monsters Plush — Sound Effect Included

Hagrid’s favorite textbook was famous for biting. This one settles for making the noise.

Brazilian chocolate chain Cacau Show is adding an interactive Monster Book of Monsters plush to its Christmas 2026 range. It recreates the snapping Care of Magical Creatures textbook from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, complete with a “monstrous” sound effect you can set off yourself. The plush arrives alongside milk chocolate bars decorated with Hogwarts crests in white chocolate — this is a chocolate shop, after all.

It isn’t the only Hogwarts item on the Christmas list. Cacau Show is also preparing a Harry Potter Cookie Box, a themed box mixing traditional biscuits with Speculoos-flavored ones, both on a milk chocolate base.

Prices

  • Monster Book of Monsters plush: R$109.99, or R$99.99 for members of Cacau Lovers, the chain’s loyalty program
  • Harry Potter Cookie Box: R$69.99, or R$64.99 for Cacau Lovers members
  • Availability: Brazil only, “coming soon” to Cacau Show stores; no exact date announced yet

The range lands in the run-up to December 25, when HBO’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone premieres. Cacau Show has sold Harry Potter lines before, and this is the latest chapter in that partnership.

Outside Brazil? This range is sold through Cacau Show’s stores in Brazil, so the realistic routes are a friend in Brazil or a package-forwarding service — worth weighing against the chocolate’s tolerance for a long, warm trip. Following Cacau Show’s social channels is the easiest way to catch the in-store date.
