Earmuffs On: Pop Mart’s Harry Potter Herbology Class Finger Puppets Drop July 16

Earmuffs on, everyone — Greenhouse No. 3 is back in session. Pop Mart’s GONG studio has revealed the Harry Potter Herbology Class Finger Puppet series, a set of six soft figures that goes on sale online on July 16, 2026 at 20:00 (UTC+8).

The concept is exactly what it says on the pot. Each figure is a plush finger puppet you can genuinely wear, standing roughly 8–9 cm tall, and every one ships with a hanging loop so it can double as a bag charm. The cast turns up in cream Herbology aprons and oversized fluffy ear protectors, planted in terracotta pots among the greenhouse ferns.

The Lineup

  • Harry Potter
  • Ron Weasley
  • Hermione Granger
  • Neville Longbottom
  • Draco Malfoy
  • Mandrake
  • Plus a secret Hermione Granger, listed as a hidden edition

The Mandrake is the obvious scene-stealer: a grumpy, leafy little root with a permanent scowl, shown mid-shriek in GONG’s promo art under a mock warning poster. Slipping it onto your finger is about as close as most of us will get to the real thing without passing out cold on the greenhouse floor.

Price and Release

  • Single figure: ¥59 (roughly $8.70)
  • Full set of six: ¥354 (roughly $52)
  • Height: approximately 8–9 cm
  • Online release: July 16, 2026, 20:00 (UTC+8)

How International Fans Can Get One

Worth being clear about this bit: the July 16 slot covers GONG’s own online drop, and the announcement explicitly notes that other channels set their own release times, pricing and rules. In other words, this is not a synchronised global on-sale moment, and the yuan pricing is not what you should expect to pay elsewhere.

The good news is that Pop Mart runs regional storefronts and apps across the UK, the US and Southeast Asia, and the earlier Harry Potter Wizarding World finger puppet series did make it to those stores. So the realistic route is to watch your local Pop Mart shop and its regional social accounts for a date rather than trying to buy into the China drop directly. Resellers will have them either way — at reseller prices.

Which one are you hoping to pull, and is anyone actually brave enough to go for the Mandrake? Let us know in the comments, and don’t forget to follow along for more Harry Potter news.
