Bottled Butterbeer poured into the Harry Potter Shop Butterbeer Glass

Harry Potter Shop Is Giving Away a Free Butterbeer Glass on US$100 Orders Through September 27

Butterbeer by the bottle is all very well, but it deserves a proper tankard.

The official Harry Potter Shop US is running a gift-with-purchase offer: spend US$100 or more in a single order and the MinaLima-designed Butterbeer Glass is added free. No code, no hunting for a checkbox.

The offer, in short

  • What you get: One Butterbeer Glass, normally US$15, added to your basket automatically
  • Spend threshold: US$100 or more in a single order, counted on eligible products after discounts and before shipping and tax
  • Dates: 12:00 a.m. PT on Monday, September 21, through 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, September 27, 2026 (2:59 a.m. ET on Monday, September 28)
  • Limits: One glass per qualifying order, though separate US$100 orders each earn one; subject to availability
  • Region: Orders delivered to US addresses only

The glass is not a throwaway

This is the same Butterbeer Glass the shop sells outright at US$15. It holds roughly 17.5 fl oz (about 520 ml), stands 6 inches (15 cm) tall and 3 inches (7.6 cm) across, and has a deliberately thick handle so your hand does not warm the drink. The artwork is a bespoke Butterbeer logo drawn by MinaLima, the design house responsible for the graphic props across the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.

Worth knowing before you build a basket

Free shipping starts at US$80 on the US shop, so any order that qualifies for the glass also ships free. If you are topping up to reach US$100, bottled Butterbeer runs US$7 a bottle or US$18 for a four-pack, and the Butterbeer and Mugs Gift Set is US$43, which makes the threshold easier to hit than it first looks.

The fine print is worth a read. The glass is subject to availability, and if it runs out the shop can swap in an item of equal or greater value, so an order placed on the 27th is not guaranteed the glass itself. It may also ship separately from the rest of your order. The glass is free, but you pay any sales tax on it. And if you return items and your order drops below US$100, the shop can ask for the glass back or take its retail price out of your refund.

If you are outside the US

The promotion is tied to US delivery, so international fans cannot claim it directly. A package forwarding service with a US address is the usual workaround, though the forwarding fee will likely exceed the US$15 the glass costs on its own. Buying the glass outright, or watching the UK shop for its own seasonal offers, is the saner route.
