Hogwarts Comes to India: The “Harry Potter” x MINISO Pop-Up Marks 25 Years of Magic
Accio retail therapy. To mark 25 years since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone first hit the big screen, lifestyle brand MINISO has opened a run of officially licensed Harry Potter pop-up stores across India — and they’ve gone all-in on the Hogwarts theming.
Each location leans into the wizarding-world aesthetic with floating-candle installations, house crests, themed photo ops and interactive corners, wrapped around an “extensive range” of officially licensed merchandise — over 250 products spanning plush toys, apparel, stationery, home décor, accessories and collectibles.

“Harry Potter has been a global cultural phenomenon for 25 years, and we’re delighted to bring fans a collection inspired by one of the world’s most beloved stories,” said Charmaine Chan, Vice General Manager of MINISO India.

MINISO’s Harry Potter line isn’t exclusive to these pop-ups — the brand runs stores across the US and worldwide, and its Harry Potter collection has rolled out everywhere from Hong Kong to Toronto.
