The Ministry Has Fallen… Into Our Feeds: First Real Box Images of LEGO’s Rumored Ministry of Magic Leak Online

The Ministry has fallen — straight into our Instagram feeds. Barely two days after a hand-drawn sketch gave fans their first hint of what LEGO’s rumored Ministry of Magic flagship might look like, actual photographs of the box have surfaced online, showing the full set for the first time.

The images come from LEGO leaker unibricks — the same account that shared the original sketch — and are now making the rounds across LEGO leak accounts. The box art reads The Ministry of Magic – Collector’s Edition and carries the “25 Years of Magic” anniversary emblem in the corner, tying the set to LEGO Harry Potter’s 25th-birthday celebrations this year.

What the Box Shows

The build stacks three levels of the Ministry on top of each other, just as the sketch suggested:

  • A London street scene up top, complete with the iconic red telephone-box visitor’s entrance, black railings, a lamp post, and a small brick station kiosk
  • The Atrium in the middle, with dark green tiled walls, gilded Floo Network fireplaces, and the golden Fountain of Magical Brethren at its center
  • An underground level below, deep in courtroom and Department of Mysteries territory

Sharp-eyed fans have already spotted some fun details. Kingsley Shacklebolt’s lynx Patronus appears as a translucent element in the Atrium, Dumbledore and Voldemort are posed mid-duel just like the finale of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and the minifigure lineup appears to include Mrs. Figg — which would make this her first-ever LEGO minifigure.

Take all of this with the usual caveat that these are unverified leaks — LEGO has not announced the set, and pricing, minifigure lineup, and release details can change before an official reveal. That said, the box photos closely match the earlier sketch, and with a rumored September 1 launch, an official announcement would likely not be far off.

Early fan reaction is split: plenty of collectors are calling it a day-one buy on the strength of that Atrium, while others are picking at the shallow depth of the build and the sparse London street layer.
