‘Harry Potter’ Audiobooks Finally Land on Spotify With Stephen Fry and Jim Dale Narration
Accio audiobooks — Spotify just became the newest place to relive the wizarding world, one chapter at a time. As of July 1, all seven official Harry Potter audiobooks are streaming on Spotify Premium for the first time, following a new partnership between Spotify and Pottermore Publishing.

Fans in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and across Europe can now stream Stephen Fry’s beloved narration, while listeners in North America also get the option of Jim Dale’s classic reading. Both narrators have voiced the series since it first launched in audio form back in 1999, and the Fry and Dale editions have racked up more than 1.8 billion listening hours combined on Audible alone.
Spotify isn’t stopping at the core seven books, either. Several companion titles are landing in select markets alongside the main series, including The Tales of Beedle the Bard (narrated by Jude Law, Noma Dumezweni, and Bonnie Wright), Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (narrated by Eddie Redmayne), and Quidditch Through the Ages (narrated by Andrew Lincoln). Paired with the official film soundtracks already on the platform, Spotify is positioning itself as a one-stop shop for wizarding world audio — and the timing lines up neatly with fans’ wait for HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series.
Where things stand:
