Harry Potter DroneArt Show Expands North: New Toronto Dates and How to Get Tickets
Twelve hundred points of light, arranged into a Patronus, hovering over a decommissioned airfield. Toronto’s turn has arrived.
DroneArt Show: Harry Potter is heading to YZD, the former Downsview Airport, for two nights this September — the show’s first Canadian stop and a significant expansion for a tour that has so far been a US affair. Produced by Nova Sky Stories and presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever, it puts 1,200 synchronised drones above the audience, choreographed to the film scores.

The show pairs the drone choreography with a live electric violinist playing key moments from the soundtrack, and every guest gets an LED wristband that syncs with the display. Themed food and drink and exclusive merchandise — wands, scarves, collectibles — are sold on site.

Sacramento Is Already Underway
The other new North American stop is Cal Expo in Sacramento, and if you’re local, move fast: performances are running August 14 and 15 at the Racetrack Grandstand, 8:45pm to 10pm. General admission is $56.90, VIP is $99.90, and parking is $15 on top.
That’s a considerably lower ticket price than Toronto’s, which is worth noting if you’re weighing a drive — pricing on this tour varies by market rather than following a fixed rate.
