Pop Mart’s Hirono x Harry Potter Lineup Revealed: 12 Figures and an October 8 Release
Hirono has always looked a little like a boy waiting for a letter that never came. It seems the owl finally found him.
Update, October 3, 2026: Pop Mart has now revealed both secret figures, a Mandrake and a Special Edition Harry, and listed the series in Canada. The full lineup, price and release date are below.
Pop Mart has confirmed that its moody designer-toy character Hirono is heading to Hogwarts. The company posted a teaser on Instagram and Facebook on September 23 with the caption “Hirono discovers the wonders of Hogwarts…” and a #comingsoon tag, alongside official Warner Bros. and Harry Potter branding.
The artwork is styled as the front page of “The Hirono News” — a clear nod to the Daily Prophet — and shows Hirono in Harry’s round glasses and a striped scarf, with Hedwig perched on his arm.
The Full Lineup, Price and Release Date
Pop Mart has put the full series on its US store. The Hirono x Harry Potter Series Figures launch online on October 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. PT (8:00 p.m. ET, or 1:00 a.m. BST on October 9), priced at US$19.99 per blind box or US$239.88 for a whole set of 12. Pop Mart’s Canadian store lists the same launch moment at C$26.99 a box.

Hirono dresses up as Albus Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid, Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape, Dobby, Sirius Black, Ron Weasley, Luna Lovegood and Lord Voldemort, plus three Harry designs: with the Sorting Hat, with Hedwig, and in Quidditch gear. Notably absent is Hermione, who isn’t among the 12 regular figures or the two secrets.

The Secret Figures: A Mandrake and a Special Edition Harry
Pop Mart’s listing now shows the two chase figures that sit outside the regular 12. The Mandrake is the secret: Hirono planted up to his chin in a labelled terracotta pot, leaves sprouting from his head, looking about as pleased as a Mandrake ever does.
The Harry Potter – Special Edition is the super secret. It shows Harry in a blue checked shirt and round glasses, holding up his Hogwarts letter while more envelopes swirl around his feet, a nod to the flood of letters in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

That settles the Mandrake leak that had been doing the rounds on TikTok since September: it’s real. The odds are another matter. Reseller listings quote 1 in 72 for the Mandrake and 1 in 144 for the Special Edition Harry, but Pop Mart’s own listing doesn’t state them, so treat those numbers as unconfirmed.
What We Still Don’t Know
Pop Mart’s listing doesn’t give the odds of pulling either secret figure, and it doesn’t say when the series reaches its physical stores. As of October 3, the series is listed on Pop Mart’s US and Canadian websites but not yet on its UK, Australian or Singapore sites, so the October 8 date is confirmed for the US and Canadian online stores only.
A word of caution if you’re shopping around: fan-made “Hirono x Harry Potter” customs have been circulating since early 2025. If a figure isn’t on Pop Mart’s official listing, assume it’s fan art.
Hirono joins a growing run of Pop Mart Harry Potter releases, including the owl plush pendants and Herbology Class finger puppets earlier this year.
Outside the US and Canada, availability depends on how Pop Mart rolls the series out regionally, and it hasn’t said yet. Keep an eye on your local Pop Mart website, app or store. If the series doesn’t appear where you are, a package-forwarding service can get a US order to you.
